Tips for a happy life!

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful,

Who doesn't want to be happy.....every person that you talk to wants this for themselves! And why not....being happy is very important! Well below are some tips that will help us to achieve this so called happiness that every heart yearns for. They are quite simple & easy to do.....so go on try them....you won't be disappointed!

1. Sit quietly for at least 10mins daily in isolation ....it's good to have some 'me' time sometimes as this really helps you contemplate.

 

2. Walk for 10-30 mins daily.......going for  a walk will do wonders for your health. Also the fresh air will help clear your mind.

3. Try to make at least 2 people laugh daily.....laughter is the best medicine. Not only will you feel good that you made someone smile, think how great they will feel especially if they are feeling down.

4. Listen & recite the Quran, the uncreated book of Allah SWT daily to nourish your soul. Just like the body needs food the same way the Quran will feed the soul. Remember Allah SWT tells us 'Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort' (13:28).....a sure way to gain happiness!

5. Life is too short to waste time hating someone.....love others for the sake of Allah SWT!

6. Eat breakfast like a king as breakfast is the most important meal of the day, eat lunch like a prince & have dinner like a beggar.....the less you eat before going to bed the better it is for your health!

7. Don't compare your life with others. You have no idea of the mountains they have climbed during their life.....the grass always looks greener on the other side thats until you get to the

other side & the colour changes!

8. Count your blessings & remember nobody is responsible for your happiness except YOURSELF so  keep smiling & say 'Alhamdulillah'

The best greeting is the greeting of Jannah....Assalamulaikum!

DID YOU KNOW......

.....The Angel of death visits each of us everyday a few times. He looks at us the same way a hungry person looks at food.....Isn't that scary!!! But only when Allah SWT will give the command for us to leave this world will it take our soul. It makes me wonder which moments I was visited & it sends shivers down my spine!

..... The Day of judgement is very close but as individuals our day of judgement begins the day we die so depending on how many moments we have left on this earth , that tremendous day is very close!! . Have we made the right preparations?

..... If you read a letter of the Qu'ran you will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a tenfold reward so if you just say alif you will get a reward for this 10x, Subhanallah......Imagine if you read JUST one page, how much reward will you get. Please don't leave the Qu'ran for the top shelf, thats not what it is there for!!

........The Prophet [SAWS] said:”Whoever enters the marketplace and says:

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٍ


then Allah will write one million good deeds for them, and will wipe away one million of their bad deeds, and will raise them one million levels and will build a home for them in Paradise .”
